Coronavirus – Can I see my children?

Yes is the short answer.

The social distancing has caused huge concern for parents who do not live with their children. The Government has clarified that keeping apart during this difficult time does not include contact.

Children 18 and under are still permitted to have contact with both parents even if they are living apart. This applies to day and night contact and is not being stopped because of the coronavirus.

If the other parent tries to stop contact this is wrong and not in line with the current advice being given.

This may change overtime so watch this space.
